I thought I should mentioned that I choose the Zend framework over the others out there (CakePHP for example,) for a couple of projects:

... because I liked the fact that you did not have to buy the 'whole cow'. The Zend Framework allows you to use just parts of it (if you like) whereas many other competing technologies, seem to require that you marry the whole thing.</description>
